La Palazzetta

In 1935, the Cervini counts decided to build a farming estate in the northwest valley of Castiglione d’Orcia: one of the most evocative places in the magical Val d’Orcia Valley, stretching all the way to Campiglia d’Orcia. This area, which includes more than 15 square kilometres of pristine greenery, has been protected as a UNESCO world heritage site since 2004.

La Palazzetta has six double rooms and three apartments directly overlooking the pool. The rustic decor, which is typical of the area, features wooden elements, raw fabrics, brick barrel vaults and visible wooden beams. The site is the perfect place for a wedding. Choosing La Palazzetta means choosing a unique experience and an immersion in nature, without giving up the pleasure of a morning swim.

La Palazzetta, located in the heart of Val d’Orcia (only a few steps away from the characteristic towns of Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino), offers, in addition to a lovely stay, the opportunity to discover beautiful landscapes and unforgettable structures of artistic and cultural importance. With the help of qualified staff, treks or mountain bike tours along some sections of the Via Francigena can be arranged upon request. Tastings of the best products from the Carpinaia organic farm, mainly wild Chianina and Maremma beef products and the farm’s extra virgin olive oil, are also available.
